Growth Happens When You’re Uncomfortable.

Let’s Work Through It Together!

Whether seeking therapy for the first time or the fiftieth, it takes courage and strength. I am a firm believer that every human being is worthy and deserving of love, connectivity, and fulfilling relationships. Within those relationships we learn something unique, and seek safety and connection, but sometimes do not receive what we need.

Individual & Family Therapy

We are all unique. There is no one-size-fits-all way of working with clients. I encourage the uniqueness and approach therapy with the same lens. I draw upon aspects of psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, humanistic theory, mindfulness-based CBT, DBT, and narrative therapy amongst others. I am a firm believer that real change occurs in a collaborative relationship between therapist and client, in a safe and caring space.

Often the identified patient is not the sole reason for dysfunction within the family system. Great work happens when the whole family comes to therapy. Together we will uncover issues within the family system and learn healthy communication and response to stress. A family systems approach is used to assist with parenting skills, adjusting to change within the family unit, and maladaptive behaviors.

life & transitions coaching

Coaching involves nonclinical guidance, working alongside you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself. Using my MFT training and lived experiences, I will work with you through life transitions like parenthood, divorce, chronic illness, adoption, burnout, and other traumas that you have lived through and need help processing.

Coming from a coaching perspective, I don’t focus on a clinical diagnosis or specific intervention. I take a holistic, organic approach and focus on your lifespan, the factors that have both protected you and caused risk, and the wisdom I have gained throughout my years.

Group Facilitation

Inpatient group facilitation involves guiding structured therapeutic sessions designed to support patients in stabilizing their mental health, developing coping skills, and fostering social connections in a secure environment. I facilitate groups using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, or mindfulness techniques. Groups provide a space for patients to share experiences, learn from one another, and practice healthy communication while addressing issues like emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relapse prevention. Groups balance engagement and structure by fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere, managing group dynamics, and redirecting discussions when necessary to maintain therapeutic effectiveness. By promoting peer support and skill-building, inpatient group facilitation plays a crucial role in a patient’s recovery journey, complementing individual therapy and psychiatric treatment.
